Statement

Day-to-day living in Santiniketan and observing nature in close quarters;the changing mood of the time cycle blended with the present-day sensibility to form the texture of the canvas. Initial motivation was to capture the tangible/ intangible sensations from fleeting experiences. An affinity with rhythm in relation to colour and light plays a significant role. With rhythm comes the time cycle - the variation between seasons. It is an image of the months without actually resembling one a representation; not a depiction.a process of distillalation that encapsulates the essence. Also, the co-relation of the self-existing in this shifting time cycle. technological language of the time overlapping with essential painterly sensibility.
