Jignesh Panchal

Jignesh Panchal completed his graduation in painting from Seth C.N. College of Fine Arts, Ahmedabad 2001-06. His works are layered with cut outs of beautiful architectural designs and patterns overlapped with various mediums creating an aesthetical composition for the eye. The aesthetic compositions combine elements of European visuals with the Indian Miniature tradition. His work, an ensemble of decorative and abstract-geometrical patterns is a kaleidoscope of reality and fiction, history and present with various materials used in it and different approaches towards the ideas of “Culture”. Jignesh Panchal have received grants by Gujarat State Lalit Kala Academy, Government of Gujarat in 2009,10 and 12. He has been a resident Artist at Glogauair Berlin, June-Sep 2014, June-Sep 2015 and Nov-Dec 2016 consecutively. 
Jignesh Panchal has been exhibiting in multiple solo and group shows all around the globe with several galleries and Art fairs, including his solo exhibition ‘The 9th Supper’ at gallery Struempfe, Mannheim Germany 2016. His iconic shows include exhibition at Lansdown Gallery, Mumbai on 2008, a solo show of paintings at art maestros New Delhi 2009, a group show at Gallery Art Positive New Delhi 2010, Canvas cult India international art fair, New Delhi 2010, Group show at Rathaus Mannheim, Germany 2012, Indian vocabulary a solo exhibition at Lalit Kala Academy, New Delhi 2013, a solo exhibition sponsored by Karin Trockles in Berlin 2015, a solo exhibition at Glogauair Berlin 2015, a solo exhibition at gallery Struempfe, Mannheim Germany 2016, Berlin art exhibition by Enter Art Foundation, Berlin 2017, a group Exhibition at Art Centrix Space, New Delhi 2019, a group show at Contemporary Art Matters, Columbus USA 2020, a group show at Museo Camera Gurugram 2021, a group show at The National Museum 2022, a group show at Gallery Art Positive New Delhi 2022 and a group show at the Instituto Cervantes New Delhi, March 2023.
