Art Alive Gallery presents legendary artist Sakti Burman’s exhibition titled ‘Sakti Burman: Hidden Gardens (1958-2018)’. The exhibition will showcase Sakti Burman’s artistic journey since 1958 to present covering a span of 6 decades. Burman’s work is a confluence of the Indian and French influences. His varied background and interests endowed his works with a unique combination of Indian and French culture. His works represent a cultural connection between the two countries.
A film by Joy Banerjee on Sakti Burman titled ‘A Ballad with Sakti’ will be shown on Wednesday, 28th February 2018 at 4 pm and 7 pm at the Auditorium, Alliance Francaise de Delhi. The duration of the film is 45 mins.
