S. Harsha Vardhana

Born in 1958 in New Delhi in the family of the late master of abstraction, J. Swaminathan, S. Harshavardhana completed Post graduation in Bio Science from The Birla Institute of Technology & Sciences, Pilani, in 1980 and a diploma in Business Management. He left his successful career as a bio scientist to pursue his passion for art, becoming a full-time practicing artist.

S Harshavardhana works predominantly on canvas and paper, creating geometric forms with primary colours.
