Born in 1984, Ahmedabad, Vipul Rathod studied Diploma in Drawing and Painting from Sheth C. N. College of Fine Arts, Ahmedabad and Post Diploma from M. S. University, Vadodara. Since 2005, he has exhibited his works in various shows frequently. In 2008, his works were exhibited in group show curated by Anupa Mehta at Lansdown Gallery, Mumbai. In 2010, he exhibited at an art event ‘Painted Poems’ at the Vikram Sarabhai International Art festival. Further, he has participated in many group shows in major cities like Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Mumbai and Delhi. He has held a solo show in 2011 sponsored by Gujarat State Lalit Kala Academy and more recently, he exhibited in Rearranging the Familiar, curated by Premjish Achari, organized by Art Alive Gallery at The Quorum, Gurgaon. He has also exhibited in India Art Fair 2022 with Art Alive Gallery. He lives and works in Ahmedabad.
