Walter Emilio D'Souza

Born in 1957, Mumbai and did his Masters in Fine Art, Print Making from Faculty of Fine Arts, Maharaja Sayajirao University, Baroda in 1983. He was a visiting Faculty at School of Architecture, K.L.Campus, Ahmedabad, during 1988-2003 and meanwhile continued his exhibitions in India and abroad. His major solo exhibitions have been in Ahmedabad in 1999, Mumbai in 1995 and 1999 in New Delhi in 1991. Among his participation in several group shows, those held recently were in Kolkata in 2003, New Delhi in 2003 and 2000 besides showing up in the 7th International Print Triennial, Finland in 1993. Walter lives and works in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
